A pet is a lifetime of commitment; our goal is to make certain you are making an informed decision for both you and the puppy or dog. We take our placements seriously. We also want to make certain you find the IG that is the perfect match for you. Each dog is different just as we are and together we will determine your needs and wants based on information you provide as well as the needs of the dog you are choosing. This will allow us to make the right match for both of you and better ensure you are both happy.
A lifetime commitment to a MOSA IG.....
Returns a lifetime of Love, companionship,
devotion, and happiness.
The Application process:
Everyone who wants a MOSA puppy or adult dog is required to fill out our application. The application process is designed to help us learn more about you and know you better, your lifestyle, needs, wants and preferences. This enables us with you to determine if an IG is the breed for you and allows us to better help you, to ensure you are matched with a dog that suits your lifestyle and that the needs of a particular dog can be met. Our concern is for both you and the dogs and this helps to better ensure a placement. We really appreciate you taking the time to fill the application out. (click here to submit request)
Adoption Prices of our puppies correspond with the color of the first letter in their name as it appears next to their photos. You will find the prices on the price page by finding that color. (click here now to view)
Interview:
MOSA puppies are placed in approved homes ONLY. Once we receive your application we will contact you first by email to let you know we have received it and to set up a time that is convenient for us to contact you by phone to speak with you. We ask that you do not send a deposit for a puppy until after we have spoken and you are approved. If you do we will not reserve a puppy we will send the deposit back to you. Not everyone is a good match for an IG so not all homes are approved.
We understand the waiting process for approval is stressful sometimes. If After you have completed and returned the application (click here to request) you are anxious, please feel free to call us, we will gladly talk with you. ( our number is at the bottom of every page).
Time to pick your puppy:
Once you are approved for a "MOSA" puppy if you don't already have your heart set on a particular puppy or dog it is time to start looking at what is available or to make your advance reservation on an upcoming litter. We are always here to help you pick the puppy or dog that is right for you if you need our help. Once you have decided and let us know which one you have selected we will mark that puppy or dog as "PENDING" on our website. (click here to view available puppies)
If the anticipation of finding out if you are approved is getting to you and you have not heard back from us a couple days after submitting your application you can call us (number provided at the bottom of every page) or email (click hear for contact). We will be more than happy to speak with you.. Your interest and time are all very important to us and everyone will receive a response from us.
Time to send the deposit:
Once you have picked your puppy and confirmed it with us, it is time to send in the deposit. The puppy you select will be marked as "PENDING" for you for 7 days. On day 8 if we have not received your deposit the puppy will be available again. No Exception will be made as we can not hold a puppy indefinitely without a deposit but we understand there are sometimes unforeseen circumstances and will work with you in that case.
We use and highly recommend and encourage you to use overnight mail or some tracking service the post office provides when sending payments or documents to us. This better ensures arrival and allows items to be tracked in the event of loss or theft in route. It costs a little extra but is worth it.
Timeline for payment and getting the contract:
The requirements for payment on any MOSA puppy or dog are as follows:
Puppies; After you have placed a deposit on a puppy the remaining balance must be paid in full by the time it reaches 6 weeks of age.
Older puppies: We will take deposits on puppies 8 weeks and older that are ready for their new homes with the stipulation that the balance is paid in full within 2 weeks of the original deposit, unless other arrangements are agreed upon in advance between MOSA and the adoptor.
We will not allow puppies or dogs to leave our home until all fees (including shipping if needed) are paid for in full and we have signed contract in hand (which we will email to you before you send the final payment). At the time final payment is sent you will also send the signed agreement with it. This protects all partied involved.
Keep in mind all deposits and money paid is non refundable if you should change you mind.
Ready to ship your puppy:
Unless there are reasons a puppy may need to stay here longer at our discretion (we will notify you if that is the case) puppies are ready to go to their new homes at 10 to 12 weeks of age.
We take care of all the details for shipping via air after we speak to you and confirm the plans. If you would like and it is our preference you are welcome to come visit and pick your puppy up instead.
If for some reason you must leave your puppy here by your choice longer that the date agreed upon you will be charged $5.00 per day and in addition the Adoptor is responsible for any veterinary care and expenses while the dog is with us, unless other arrangements are made between Adoptor and MOSA in advance. (We understand there are different circumstances for everyone so decisions are made on a case by case basis.)
